Oct 31, 12:00 noon - Deadline for applications by mail for an absentee ballot to be mailed.

Nov 2 - Voting in person at the Board of Elections ends.

Nov 2 - All Vote by Mail/Absentee ballots mailed anywhere in the U.S. must be postmarked on or before this date and received at the Board of Elections on or before 11/13/2015 in order to be counted.

Nov 3, 6:30 am to 7:30 pm - Election Day - Provisional voting at the Board of Elections.

Nov 3 - All Vote by Mail/Absentee ballots returned in person must be received at the Board of Elections by 7:30 pm in order to be counted.
WATCH PARTY - TUESDAY, NOV 3 !
Team Blackwell will be at First Place Event and Mutlipurpose Center, 16536 Broadway Avenue in Maple Heights on Tuesday, November 3. We will arrive soon after the polls close at 7:30 PM. We thank all those involved in supporting and voting for me - it has been 12 long, progressive and enriching months, and I have so many committed volunteers and met many new friends along the way. I always finish what I start - Let's Finish It on Tuesday, November 3!!

Good morning with campaign news:
I just received an invitation to participate in a forum that will bring a lot of money to our city, if I am elected! When I asked how was I, our city, chosen, the contact told me that the Maple Heights' Mayoral Race is the most watched from Cuyahoga to Summit Counties and further, it has proven to be the most interesting. I was very complimented when they told me that they are very eager to meet me and want to do so right away, Thursday, 10/8.
I could have never imagined that this would be happening for me - from such humble beginnings, with my parents we migrated here in the 60's from AL. However, thanks all for the donations, support and more. I am very grateful for those of you who have donated more than once and keep asking how much more do you need, what else do you need? You all are a very big part of the success of this campaign!!! Thank you.
